Julien Chanca aka Chanca is a House-DJ who is born and raised in Paris where he has been enchanted with the world of DJing. He has always been in contact with the underground Parisian scene, progressing from the dance floor to promoting events and then learning to spin records himself. Chanca started in 2009 during his Modelling career where he travelled the world and collected records from everywhere he went (Tokyo, NYC, Italy, UK, Germany and so on), now he is based in Amsterdam where he has his residency at Shelter and Thuishaven. He has played in lineups including Shonky, Dyed Soundorom, Traumer, Arapu and Djebali. He knows how to transfer his groove and energy into the crowd wherever. Chanca’s music is described as sexy, groovy and hypnotic, which swings between minimal and electro. He has a refined selection and takes you through a journey during his sets.
